As is to be expected on Slash Dot, there were several comments of “Do you own homework”, and some “unbiased” product plugs passed off as “opinions”. Largely however, there well thought out answers from experienced industry veterans.

The general consensus seems to be that “it depends”. It depends on what you want to do and how much money you want to spend :-)
